ARTIST FEATURE: SHELLEY JUND

I haven't done a #featurefriday post in awhile, but I am pleased to introduce you to the work of Shelley Jund. Shelley creates two-dimensional artwork in various mediums including resin, encaustic, and metal leaf. She is particularly intrigued by the waxy, soft-focus of encaustic against the glassy, sharpness of resin. The use of those materials evoke both a dream-state and a wakeful awareness for her. Shelley is an Idaho native and lives and works in Boise.
